More about CustomComment plugin

CustomComment plugin lets you to add more fields to comment form
When a user post a comment the extra fields data will be visible only to admin
In the setting page of the plugin you can add, edit, delete, activate or deactivate extra fields
With deactivating an extra field the data of that field won’t be removed but when you delete an extra field all associated data will be removed from comments.
For adding an extra field there are two input box
Name: is the identifier of the extra fields and you can see it only in the extra fields table(will be used as the key)
It should be unique and can only contain alphabetic letters, space and _
If you enter another character the plugin will remove that character
Description: This part will be visible in the comment form and can contain any character.

In the comments page you can see a link(Info) that will lead you to a page which you can see the value of extra fields of the user(if he has filled them)!

I hope you enjoy this plugin

It look like that your PlugIn doesn’t work in some Themes?! A search wich Code must be in, or just an work-a-round hhow to solve should be great.

      I don’t think so!
I use general function of wp to put the fields in the template
Are you sure you have configured the fields with the right values?

BTW.: I think it will be helpfull, if you didn’t share my last message as an open, shown comment! So, it is totaly okay, if you spamed, or delete it after you had a copy of them – just foryour self!

    _I_ didn’t need in a minor public!!!!

    Best wishes,

Hi, for some reason, the custom comment fields are not appearing when the user is logged in…
Kinda sad that to be able to see the custom comment fields, one has to log out first, otherwise, they’ll only see one big box for the comment text… any help, please?

Can I somehow display those extra fields on the site along with what they wrote in the comments field? That would be nice. I know a tiny bit of PHP so if it’s a line of code I should put in, please tell

Oh thank you so very much! That helped.
I have a suggestion for future versions. To be able to chose what type of field it is. So one, when displaying it, can make an URL clickable, embed a movie etc.
    That would be really usefull.
